Your son is the one who has to make the choice that he wants to change. It is hard not knowing where they are or what they are doing, or even if they are alive. The best thing you can do is build your own relationship with God, and trust that God has him in his hands. Also start attending Al-Anon or Nar-Anon meetings. The support from others who are going through what you yourself are going through is far reaching. Post here, all of us here share in your pain, and don't be afraid to ask God for help.
