I also just posted for the first time last week. I agree with everyone about telling your sons. My reason is different then most. Somebody told me recently to shock our children because then they will know the consequences of doing drugs. It may be a hurtful thing and yes you probably will need to get them some counseling. If we keep our children in the dark about these things, even if it is their father, then how will they know what drugs could do to them and the extended family? I posted that my Mother is enabeling my 49 year old sister, and won't kick her out of the house, so I had to tell my 11 year old daughter why she couldn't go to Grandma's house right now. My Mother can come to our home and visit, but she won't because she doesn't understand why WE all won't help anymore. I would tell them in my personal opinion. I have printed out testimonials from some of you and put them on her doorstep to read, and she still doesn't believe it! She lived in a different era and REALLY knows nothing about drugs. It is a learning process, but she is so closed minded, I get frusturated and just stop calling or giving her things to read. Hope this helps in some way, Ouida
