When I experienced meth induced psychosis with my husband it was rarely calm. He'd be pacing, or sweating, full of anxiety. He'd be mumbling talking to himself and then sometimes he'd be talking to me about the craziest suspicions and he was so serious about them all.
One time at a restaurant he convinced himself that all of the waiter's in tropical shirts were with the mafia and were following him. He had huge dillusions that he was of great importance.
He'd come into his room or hotel room and swear that someone had been there and had rearranged things.
At first before I learned about it it scared me, after a while I would tell him that METH causes psychosis and what you are feeling IS NOT REAL. and I would only say that and hang up on him.
I'm not sure if your addict is having psychosis or not. If not now, eventually. But that's kind of what it looked like for us. At this stage though its real important for you to be careful around them. Get away. Keep yourself safe.
Read and educate yourself it's the only power you can get over this drug.
