Shell,
This post of Susan's was right on. I have a brother who has been addicted to meth for many years. Here is a run down of his cycles as i call them:

I see him and he is on TOP of the world, talking, laughing, commenting on anything and everything, willing to help somewhat if you need him, etc.. (He's HIGH)

I don't see him for 2 days, he's gone....

Now he comes over,.. I find out that he was home for a day but was asleep and wouldn't answer the phone when i called him yesterday... hmm
Hes asleep.. sleeps for 12 hours and when he comes over he eats everything up in my house!!

I notice that he is also very snippy with me.. and quiet...*coming down again*

He leaves again, wonder where he went?

See him again a few hrs later and he is on top of the world again...HIGH AGAIN

This is just from my personal experience with a meth addict mind you, and he slams, *shoots up*
