The house i live in with my family was built in 1890s.We moved out to have building work done,we moved back about 3 months later,things started to happen like loud bangs in the night,strange smells,footsteps walking around at night,we have also seen orbs in every room at night and in the day.My wife was in the bathroom alone one morning when a loud bang from the kitchen startied her she looked in the kitchen and saw a life like figure standing there.I asked her what the figure was like she told me he had a hat on with long hair to his shoulders he had a long pair of boots to the knee and that the boots had lace up fronts he also had a long dark blue coat on.My wife shut the bathroom door and waited a time before coming out.I myself was woken up late at night in my bedroom by a cloud of floating bright light right in front of my face i just lay there like a rock while it floated away to the window.The second time i was woken up at night with a loud bang from the wall by my window i looked up and saw a dull round light the size of a dinner plate i moved in bed to get a better look the dull light moved back through the wall as it did so the outer edge of the ring glowed bright as it passed through.I did sleep with no light in my bedroom all my life now i sleep with the light on, i am 51 years old and never believed in ghosts and spirits till now.
