Subject: twinkling lights

After my stepfather passed away I saw a small cloud of twinkling lights about a foot above the floor coming towards me along the hall of his flat. When alive my stepfather would rest on his bed in the afternoons, and when I visited and would be sat in the lounge he always came down the hall greeting me. I have always wondered if what I saw was him, or my mind playing tricks due to the upset. There were other odd happenings such as the doorkeys swinging violently in the keyhole with no draught to cause it. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
