not sure if it was a ghost but was very strange. 1st experience i saw a large black cat (both me and my husband) streak accross the road in front of teh car we were traveling in a disappear. It was so large at first i thought it was dog but realised as it ran that it was a cat beacuse of the way its spine moves ( i should know how they run i have 4 cats myself) when i looked into the field it has run too there was nothing there. I later found out that there is a local legened about a knight running along this strtech of road being chased by a cat and later killed some miles away. also on the same stretch of road a few months later a saw a grey horse cantering towards us, it was visable for a few seconds then disappeared. it was a case of now you see it now you don`t. these both happened in broomhill wombell. hope this helps
