Subject: Ghost caught on my video camera

As part of a University project I decided to stay in a haunted hotel. My creepy location of choices was the Grosvenor Hotel in Shaftesbury.
It is supposed to be haunted by monks from when it was an Abbey and also grey lady who they think is a murdered Abbess wo died for her faith during the reformation and also an unknown little boy.
We set up a video camera in the room and filmed us at work, also mucking around etc. We also went into the graveyard opposite and took some still pictures of us near the graves.
When we got home and watched the film back we noticed that a few pictures came out strangely in the graveyard of the old abbey (it showed figures that were not us in clothes that none of us were wearing) but where we videoed the room in the morning there is a light grey figure in front of the fireplace, (by the mirror and the window which is where the grey lady is meant to stand. She has been seen there looking out onto the old church before! You can make out her face, hair and shoulders in the fireplace, and I can't be any of us who were there.
We looked at the picture of the figure and scrolled on the film to a few minutes later. The camera had not been moved from the tripod, the film had just been left running but this time there was nothing there at all! The figure had completely vanished! also Just outside the door was freezing cold and there was a different smell to the rest of the hotel by our room.
We have showed the pictures to other people who were not there that night yet they all agree there is a definate face. She looks to be in her 30's or 40's.
The whole experience was odd, as there were lots of taps, raps and bangs when we were trying to get in touch with the spirits at night. It was odd and I would never stay there again! One night's ghost hunting was quite enough for me! Has anyone else stayed there or heard of it? And did you also catch anything on film like I did?
