i used to live on Dartmoor and one of the other paranormal things i think you should have a look at is the "Hairy hand"

If you havent heard of this, it is very well known with lots of individual stories all relating to driving up this road between Postbrigde and Two Bridges and when you get next to the postbrigde woods a hand appears and either pulls your steering wheel or handle bars and makes you crash.

one of my friends used to live near here and when i used to leave his house i would be bricking myself until i had past the woods, never saw anything myself but its still some scary s**t.
