Subject: strange goings on the bluebell bridge

Hello my name is lee harris im 27 years old and i live in little stoke bristol uk and i have looked at many websites and i think i have found ghost watch uk to be the place to share my experience of strange goings on in my area with like minded people. Now were i live there is a old (built 189?-192? i think) brick bridge nicknamed the bluebell bridge it was called this as the bricks had a blueish metalic tinge to it that in the right light would make it glow blue like it was covered in bluebells!
now this bridge connects a large public playing field with a small unkept ex farmers field (the bridge goes over a small stream a railway line a small road and another bigger stream) witch runs alongside the rolls royce aeroplane factory (i should also mention that this small field used to have ww2 air raid shelters next to were the smaller stream runs along it also has a small rubbish collecting site on the left hand side of the bridge in the playing field)
my first experience with stange things happening on this bridge when i was about 11 years old.
me and my mother were out walking the dog the route was the same route we allways took (around the playing field up onto the bridge round the smaller field and back down to the playing field again. But this time the dog would not go onto the bridge it was snarling and growling and acting strange not seeing anything on the bridge i ran up too take a look and i saw what looked like lots of small red spiders (no bigger than a full stop) covering the right hand side of the wall i called to my mother to come and have a look but when i looked back at the wall there was nothing there. Suddenly out corner of my eye i saw a small bush shaking violently and i mean violently as it was nerly uprooting itself (it was a calm day no wind it was also a sunday so the rubbish place was closed and there was no trains or cars going past at the time and there was no birds or animals as i would have seen them) and to this day i have no idea what that was!

My next experience (and it was 1000 times more frighting) was when i was 16 and i had just got my first moped. not having any tax on it yet i decided not to take the main road back to my house but to go down the road by the bridge (station road) i got about 15 meters past the bridge and my lights cut out not wanting crash i pulled over (the road has no street lighting) i then took my helmet off. It was a clear night and i could see the lights from the 40 odd houses on the other side of the playing field i could also see the lights from the factory on my right and the bright stars in the sky. I got out my lighter to take a look at the battery on the moped thinking a wire had come lose but it was fine then when i looked back up again it was pich black i could not see the lights of the houses,factory the stars or even my lighter! and let me tell you the smell that started to float around me was horrid i just cant discribe it it was nasty i was nerly sick over my moped! i put my helmet back on but by this time i was really starting to panic i re started my moped and just as it fired into life i felt something try to rip my helmet back off my head buy pulling it backwards but the (i am soooo greatfull) chin strap stopped that from happening and i just open up the throttle and whatever it was let go and i shot forward.
After i got about 20 - 30 meters away from the bridge i stopped to put my gloves back on as it was -3c i then looked back at the bridge hopeing to see some people messing about but what i saw was what i can only discribe as a "anti shadow" on top of the bridge like a shadow on a black background.
i hope you people can understand what i went thro with this as its still scares the crap out of me even now!
sorry this post is so long but just had to share some of my experiences i have encounterd other strange things going on with this bridge (i will post them on another date) but those two are the most frighting to me.
