One flaw in your reasoning is that the human mind is a wee bit more complicated than a battery. Is spirit life possible? God exists as a spirit (John 4:24). Angels are spirits. Man is made in Gods image with a will, intellect, morals and emotions (immaterial stuff) that is spiritual. The bible says "God breathed in man the spirit of life" Man has a soul that releases after death (luke 23:43) (Phillippians 1:21-24) ( 2 corinthians 5) are a few examples. Final mode of afterlife existence is the resurrection ( 1 corinthians 15). The bible teaches an "intermediate" state in heaven before the resurrection for christians. On the mind. Is it only matter? Can atoms know Right from wrong, love, or have a will?
