Both me and my sister have experienced on separate occasions waking up in the night with a dark shadowy hand closing over our faces. I believe ghosts exist but I always try to find a logical explanation for things before jumping to conclusions - it may be that the hand we saw was down to sleepy eyes adjusting to the dark, but I can assure you I didn't poke my head back out from under the covers till morning!
