Subject: Is my sister being haunted - Please advise

My sister moved into her house 9.5 years ago, two years before the previous tennant murdered his wife. He strangled her in the bathroom. She was an unhappy woman who had told her husband she was dying of cancer when she wasn't, when he found out he flipped and strangled her. When she first moved in ,with a young baby, everything was fine but after about 6 months and around the anniversary of the murder things began to happen. At first it was just lights going on usually over night when no-one witnessed it, the lights throughout the house were on when she got up on a morning even though she had turned them out the night before, things would go missing only to turn up in the strangest of places ect. Now my sisters daughter is 10 years old aand things seem to be getting worse, the "ghost" seems to have developed a likeing to the kettle and boils it constantly at night - when my sister gets up in the morning the kitchen is full of steam, she now has to unplug the kettle. |She has a dog which suddenly gets up and growls at the ceiling or at the door and will not go upstairs at night?.
For the first time last night my sister witnessed an event, she was sitting in the living room watching T.V around 10.30pm, her daughter was in bed asleep, her husband was at work, when suddenly the living room door handle moved down and the door was thrust open. At first she thought it was her daughter who had woken and come downstairs but no-one was there. She checked doors and windows all were locked, her daughter was still sleeping soundly, the dog was barking madly. That night the dog sat under the dining table growling all night. My sister is shocked and scared, all other events were unwitnessed now she feels things have changed, incidently its almost the anniversary of the murder again. Can any one help.
