hi scott i have been looking in on ghosts for 3 years and i would like to help you for starters the man that was burrgled was trapped on his bed in his own house and then died. hense the reason for the haunghting. spirits like this one is doin what he is doin because beleive it or not you are in his house he is trying to get you out so he can finally rest in peace. the lights that you and your girlfriend saw are called orbs and they are spirits that are trying to show themselves and the reason for the door not opining is he was trying to tell you what happened to him. noew i am really intrested in all of this and would like to visit the house for a night and see if i can make contact with him so if you could get in touch that would be great . i hope to hear from you soon.
