Greetings from western australia,
Are you guys familiar with a book titled "Ghost Hunter" by Eddie Durks and Gillian Cribbs, published in 1995? If so, how was the book received by serious investigators of psychic phenomena in the UK?
The book claims Durks "freed" earth-bound spirits from many famous places in the UK, including the Queen's bank Coutts,in London, allegedly haunted by the ghost of Thomas Howard, the fourth Duke of Norfolk.
Burks' conversations with various "ghosts" reveal nothing not already known about their lives before death. And the "ghosts" conversations are all very similar, despite their once earthly status and nationality.
My wife and I are very interested in the subject of paranormal activity, but do not think the book's content can be taken seriously. Any comments?
Along with a few relatives and friends we've had strange experiences, but were we drunk, half asleep or dreaming? Fascinating but frustrating.
Best wishes, Brian Northeast, Augusta, Western Australia.
