I read you article on Lusterless OD paints, and agree totally with your thoughts on the subject. I�ve had my 41 willys since 1989, when we first restored it we used the paint that was available at the time, even than I thought the color was not right. Looked around for the right color OD, but was told what was in the market was correct. I had the jeep repainted shortly there after with original military OD paint but it could be or most likely post WWII. Still it was and is a darker green than the other vehicles around here.
I could go on and on, I don�t want to waist your time busy. I am going to repaint my jeep this fall, and I don�t have an original part to match the color from, I'd like to get it right this time around, can you help.
