OOC: Lol, kinda, but not really. It is sorta icky to explain, and it might go too far out of the lines of realism for your tastes, depending on how open-mided you are. If that is the case, I can fabricate a more acceptibale story, but, I'll give explaining the story a shot. Keep in mind I haven't gotten every detail figured out yet :/
Ok, so, the mean one [Caligo, though she has no definate name] is Letha's rival and has been for a very long time [I'm talking countless lifetimes here, as in reincarnation]. The two are also like Ying and Yang; two halves of the same soul. The last time the two were alive, they had their own bodies and ended up killing each other in a fight. It isn't very often they are born with their own bodies. Usually they get stuck with the same one, struggling for control. Letha is usually always the one born in control, and so Caligo fights to gain control. The outcome of this struggle varies from life to life. However, on rare occasions, Caligo is the one born in power. Usually, when this happens, Letha simply remains 'dormant,' if you will, and Caligo is left to live her chaotic life-style in peace[talk about an oxymoron o.o].
That is basicly it. Any questions? n.n
A few other notes:
1. Letha's real name isn't Letha. It is just the 'pup's' name. Letha can't remember anything, but Caligo can. When and if Letha remembers her past, then she will more or less no longer be Letha, but the re-awoken rival of Caligo.
2. The ravens. Bet you've been curious of them, at least a little. Graz is like a guide or mediator and is always born remembering the past. He is rather fond of Letha, but doesn't actually have anything against Caligo all that much. The flock serve as a form of aid to Letha, as you've seen, and generally just watch Caligo. Letha's last parents abandoned her in fear because they recognized Graz and his flock, and knew the tales of Caligo.
I could probably say a bit more, but gotta go to be now x.x
