In reply to: Letha 's message, "Re: {{ . The.Old. One. }}" on 14:34:32 11/10/02 Sun

Brechin took a deep, shakey breath, under the watchful eyes of Graz. A nervous glance is cast about, icy-colored orbs searching for any other wolves that might betray him. The Balkar were fiercely loyal to Drekka, and he could be killed for speaking of such things. But he would not let Letha know this. Finally, with another deep breath, he turned his eyes back to Letha, staring deeply into her own.

"The Sight," he said in a hushed voice, "is an increadible power. With it, one can see, in the water, images of the past, present, and future. And..." he pauses, glanceing up at Graz, and them back to Letha. "One can see through the eyes of birds. Putnar and Scavenger alike."

The Balkar's words hang in the snowy air for a moment as he watches Letha's reaction. He knew the risk he was taking by doing what he was about to do.... But he had a feeling in his heart. This wolfess was different from the rest. And he felt the need to help her. To do what he was about to do was practically treason in the eyes of Drekka. But he wished to help Letha as much as he could...

"Should my idea work, Ackar may be able to help...maybe. But I'l warn you that there is a problem. To get his help would be very difficult. For you see, he is a Neutral wolf," explains Brechin. "But never mind that for now. Come with me." He bounds off through the snow, ignoreing Letha's question of why Drekka wouldn't help. He wasn't going to tell her yet. It would be unsafe.
