Oh I dont doubt that at all. I am sure that Jack is a good man. ANd the term "carpetbagger" should not apply in this race, because he is a full time resident now.

But look at it this way, Meub was a good man. A really good guy, with good fiscal policy and ideas on the environment and education. Did the Vermont people care? No. Because in my own opinion, people are sometimes scared about what may happen when changed happens in Vermont. I needed someone new, a bold fresh begining for Vermont; Bill Meub was that choice. But vermonters didn't listen to him. Bernie has really done nothing down there, he treated Meub like dirt (which he isn't) and deployed his rose garden approuch.

Not fair, but think about it...McMullen could be thrown onto the same pile that Meub was thrown on. Because Vermonters are sometimes scared of change. But look at us now, we have a Republican Governor who I support, (Lt. Governor I do not) and I think that change was a good one for Vermont. By the way, I support Doug in the campaign, but Jim I believe is just as good.
