Again, I repeat that I wonder if I am the only blue collar working class person in here. I did not say that I was positive that I am. Feeling like I am talking to people that ar in a totally different economic and social environment is just that, a feeling.

Dean is using class warfare in many ways but in your example "tax cuts for the rich" is one way he is doing it. Bush is offering a tax refund to people that pay taxes. A refund that take over 35 million of us lower income types off the tax roles completely. An end to the dividend tax that affects millions and millions of us that have retirement funds, stocks etc.
You may not like to hear the fact that the top 5% of the people pay over 60% of the taxes but they do and since they pay for everything they should get a refund too. The percentage of their refund is smaller than anyone elses but when you pay so much in taxes the refund is going to end up being more than someone who pays a thousand or so in.

It isn't class warfare to offer across the board tax refunds like Bush is doing, like Reagan did, like Kennedy did etc. If you want to play the classes against each other for political gain then go ahead but don't be suprised when you get called on it and told to stop using class warfare.

PS: If you want more programs and such maybe focusing in on how wastful your Senators and Representatives are with the money (and the agencies as well I'd say) and put real effort into electing people that will make accountability of our money a priority and will crack down on waste (both intentional waste and the waste caused by continuing failing programs)

Hey and I am sorry if my feeling like I am the only blue collar guy offends you, but it is just a feeling. Relax.

>See you cant back that up at all, James. You have no
>idea if other people in this room as blue collar
>working class folks. That is just naive to think.

>Cuts????? Rich and Powerful???? You say that is true
>out Dean, and I just laughed. Show me some hard proof
>that he is using class warefare for his own political
>gain, then we can sit down and have a serious
>discussion about all this.
