I agree that the feds really should ahve no role in education. The same liberals that say that the feds should not have control go crazy at the notion of getting rid of the dept of education though.

There are so many costs involved in the layers of control over education. In VT just look at the aount spend both for state fees and fees to each supervisory union. Get rid of half of the supervisory unions or better yet all of them and see how much money can be saved.
