Relax Jim. The point I was making was that a conservative challenge in the GOP primary would force Bush to move right. (Just like Al Gore moved left in response to Bill Bradley's primary challenge).

There's not always a conspiracy against Republicans going on. Why are you so paranoid?

And I do disagree that Bush has been moderate. I will admit it depends on your perspective. Robert Baral would call himn a liberal so he's supporting Alan Keyes. I think his judicial appointments have been right wing idealogues, he's still pursuing drilling in Alaska, he's whittling away at a women's right to choose, and his committment to deficit spending is pathetic.
