I supported Clavelle until the Super Sunday debates. When he stated that he supports a statewide ban on smoking in bars, I changed my mind. I am not a smoker, but I support the civil rights of all Vermonters to do any dumb thing they want to do. Issues such as the smoking ban belong to the individual business owners, not state mandates. We have enough laws to straighten out already without adding new ones that curtail the rights of business owners and/or consumers. It's getting harder to vote.
