Subject: Naked Statues and Court Justices

The Vermont Press corps is really slacking. An example:

The statue in the Governor's office has gotten tons of attention from the press. I don't mind that they are giving Douglas a hard time ... but it's a foolish issue to spend so much time covering.

On the other hand, there has been very little attention paid to the case of Justice Dooley. I like Dooley a lot. He's done a lot of great things. But the misconduct charges against him are very serious and they deserve better coverage.

Another example, I'm not sure that the Times Argus gave any space to the recent changes in the Republican House leadership.

Seems like local political coverage should be stronger.
