NO TO WAR WITH IRAQ!

Dear Fellow Concerned Citizen:

I read your recent letter to the editor in a local newspaper re another war by the USA on Iraq and would like to share my opinions with you. I wish to express my strongest possible opposition to another war with Iraq under the present circumstances.

I am a conservative, pro Bible, pro family, pro life, Protestant Christian Republican American. Many people have the mistaken impression that all conservatives such as myself are in favour of another war with Iraq, which is certainly not the case!

As a health care worker, I have dedicated 20 years of my life as a Paramedic and then Nurse to lessening human suffering, pain, disease, injury and needless death. I can not sit quietly by while my nation's leaders lobby for an unjust war of offense against Iraq that would no doubt inflict further terrible suffering on countless civilians and soldiers of all concerned.

I believe the true purposes of such a war would be to:

1) further empower the evolving total police state government in the USA,

2) secure absolute control of Iraq's oil deposits for Western interests and

3) further strengthen the United Nations as part of a continued effort to impose a tyrannical one-world-government upon all nations.

As a Christian, a health care worker and an American citizen, I strongly oppose any such wicked war with Iraq for such objectives as the love of earthly wealth and power. I thus add my voice to opposition to a war with Iraq. Please see my article below:
