If someone is has the intention to murder, they will use what they will find to act out these murders. In Merced, California, two summers ago, an intruder entered a farmhouse one morning and used a pitchfork to murder two small children. The mother was away shopping and the father was away at work that morning. Still this user of this pitchfork committed murder and these two small children were just as dead. He stabbed to death the two children using this deadly instrument; a mere farmhouse pitchfork that can be purchased a hay and feed supply house or a local retail store, nearby. It doesn't make one iota difference what instrument is being used. The simple truth is a gun like a pitchfork, a knife, a plastic sack will NOT pick itself up and commit murder. It is the murderer himself/herself will do this act. A gun, knife, pitchfork, a match causing arson, a plastic sack, a lamp cord, a rope, a pillow case, a bath tub of water are objects that have no feelings or movements. They can not activate themselves into action. I use a bath tub because a demented mother drowned her five children at one time in Texas. Still these children, tragically through her hands and lack of care are just as dead, unfortunatly.
In another incident a student at the State Univeristy at Sant Barbara (California) used his dad's vehicle and consequently ran over five other students in a fit of rage. All five of these students were murdered just the same. A car can be used in a murder or a murder spree, just as easy. This act was done three years ago because this student was having failing grades.
Again the gun owners I know including myself have never committed an act that would take a human life in our experiences, unless in a case of self defense. In the case of Ted Kennedy, he DID committ an act of manslaughter with the incident of Chappaquidick and Dyke Bridge. When he sponsors gun legislation and harks about the lack of safety of ALL gun owners, how can he make this moral judgement? After what he did in his escapade, he should be the last one to talk about safety. A second point I wish to make. The feminist are equally hypocritical when it comes to the rights of their gender. They back Teddy every election and what he did showed no concern for a now deceased female that was in his company. When feminist groups fail to condemn Teddy Kennedy, they show that their partisanship to Kennedy is more important then the justice that was denied when he did not face mansluaghter charges concerning the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. This was the point I was trying to make concerning feminist and the likes of one, Teddy Kennedy.
