you know what I like to call people like you? a fence sitter. Nothing would ever get done anywhere if people like you ran things. You have to take a stand on the issues, you cannot fence sit and hope for the best.

I am not even going to respond to all the outrageous charges you have made but I will attempt to set you straight on some of them.

First of all you listen to closely to the ultimate fence sitter Jim Jeffords when it comes to special education funding. The funding was not left out of the budget, are you crazy. It simply was not increased at a level that Jumpin Jim wanted it to be. Money does not solve all problems, look at my hometown of NYC, funding for education has increased time and time again for NYC schools and the problems keep coming and it seems nothing ever changes. Just because there was no increase in special ed. funding that does not mean it was left out or cut. Get the facts straight.

Next Issue is tax cuts for the "rich and Powerful". Tell me, how can you give a tax cut to people who don't pay taxes? I'll tell you how, YOU CAN'T. As for the middle class we did receive a tax cut. Every tax payer did receive a cut to there personal income tax. If you can understand math I'm sure you will honestly admit that those who pay more into the system are obviously going to get more cut, it is simple percentages. Not to hard to understand.

As far as ANWAR and drilling in the arctic goes, i wrote a 25 page paper for a senior project in college on this issue and the facts show it is a great idea. The land in the size of South Carolina and less than one-half of one percent of that land would actually be used for this drilling, and with all the new technology in drilling for oil the land would not be harmed at all. Not to mention that this piece of land is a vast tundra with no trees or vegetation and hardly any animal life. In fact the land is only used for about 1 and a half months out of the year by the caribou who migrate through there.

Another fact that cannot be argued is that when the Alaska Pipeline was put in, in the early 70's all the environmentalists were up in arms claiming it would hurt the caribou but history has show that since the first pipeline was put in, the caribou population has tripled in the area where the pipeline runs. I could go on and on but I know none of this will change your mind anyway.

I guess I am done for now.
