Car accidents kill more people in Israel than terrorists do. But Israel still works to eliminate terrorism.

Fact remains. Less than 2% of gun deaths are in self-defense.

Also, I did not hear that L.Perkins suggest that guns be taken away. Seems like you are making assumptions (again) about the point of view that L.Perkins holds.
