CP, I agree with you on most of your points ... and wish that Polina did not run in the last election, but I don't see how his race wasted taxpayer dollars. He did not use the any government money for his campaign.
Regardless, like minded people need to make sure that we don't continue to split our votes and let folks like Dubie ride into office.
