Subject: Grand Army Of The Republic Highway (U.S. 6)



Again I used this highway to point out that the state of Ohio was a union state in the American Civil War. The highway went from point A to point B crossing from one union state into another. This highway was in honor of the nurses, doctors and medics of the American Civil War. In the movie; "HOW THE WEST WAS WON"; the fact remians that Ohio was a union state. The effort to fight the Civil War was made by volunteer groups in Ohio who carried guns to fight in behalf of the union. Many of these groups were NOT classified as militia, but that of an INDIVIDUAL effort. The individual effort therefore made carrying any guns, munition an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT not a militian right.
By illustrating the highway, this proves in case there is a dispute from any of you contributors (liberal) that Ohio was indeed classified as a union state. Liberals are always prone to rewrite American history to their way of thinking without reviewing history and the sence of history, therein.
