No one has said that they want your guns. Some of us have simply said two things. 1. The Second Amendment does not give individuals the right to own any kind of arms they happen to relish. 2. There is a need to have some type of gun control that keeps guns from crimminals. Currently crimminals can buy guns from private citizens,(who then may become crimminals unknowingly), at gun shows and various other ways. Any movement to close the loopholes have been fought by the NRA and others.

If the NRA wants to keep guns away from crimminals why do they fight laws designed to do just that. We have to register cars and they are taxed. Why not guns? One has to have a hunting license, thus the government knows a whole bunch of folks who have guns. (Very few people with a hunting license don't own a gun!) Why not know everyone who has a gun not just the licensed law abiding hunters? The NRAs logic makes no sense at all.
