Susi, you need to read the article that started this thread again - or did you bother to read it at all?

Maybe you missed American History in school, so I guess you need to be advised that the American Revolutionary War started when the British Army marched out from Boston to Lexington and Concord (Mass.) to confiscate the citizenry's firearms, ammo and powder!

In fact, if individual citizen farmers outside of Boston to Lexington Mass. had not be armed, the British Army would have succeeded and the USA would have been part of the British Empire maybe even to this very day!

Our Founding Fathers did not write the 2nd Amendment so that future Americans could be assured of being able to "hunt!"

Another interesting thing about this artice (the 1st post of this thread) is how every big 20th century genocide by evil governments started with gun registration, on to gun control, confiscation and then murder of innocent UNARMED civilians.

But maybe Susi missed Recent World History in school as well - another well rounded, socially conscious Amerikin publikk skhuul gadiate!!!
