Actually it was the FBI, CIA and various other agencies that failed our country. They refused to cooperate and remained aloof of the citizenry. Clinton must account for some of the blame, but the Bush team did nothing to change the situation dramatically until after 9/11. Now we have Homeland Security and Ashcroft trying to infringe on all our rights in the name of protection. When they start listening in on your conversations and checking into your background and the background of your friends then what will you think. It is interesting that the "new homeland security movement" does everything except gun registration. I assume it is okay for those among us who have illwill for our country and citizens to own arms as they have a Second Amendment right! Thnik about it.
