Ted, I have been around business machines most of my life. But I do seriously doubt I would have been brave enough to try a computer if our older son hadn't kept at me to get one. He was kind enough to say, "Call me when you have a problem." Can you imagine how much I spent in telephone calls to Kansas City trying to get some understanding? One day he finally said, "Mom, you're not going to damage the computer. Stop worrying about that." So, I have never damaged a computer, but I have lost documents and was never able to retrieve them..Grrrrrrr!!

I am grateful for a computer, for I teach a group of ladies on a weekly basis, and of course I write, so it has been a real blessing to me.

My husband always says, "A machine is a machine; there will be times when they don't work." That is the time I push the panic button!! It's a shame we get to the point we think we can't live without a computer.
