She smirked at him, and said," Apology taken. Don't see how I couldn't forgive you..." she trailed off, and blushed a little. She had almost revealed her feelings!

This whole time she had liked Valesh, but she had learned from experience that 'if you're hunting for something....act like the prey'. And she knew that most males liked to contain their feelings from the female, giving the female a chance to make a fool of herself in trying to get to him.

She licked her chops and watched for some food possibility...the whole time, trying not to let Valesh see that she kept looking at him out of the corner of her eye.
