Luckly the calf was not as fast as mother and still lagged behind. He saw the chance and snatched it up. His Muscles were taught coils as he launched from the ground into action. He slunk along the earth at a ground eating pace. He got in between the calf and its mother, a wolfish grin sprang to his lips but didnt reach his eyes which were as cold as ever. He started herding the calf farther away from the mother Moose, laughing as he ran putting as much distance as possible in between him and the formidable opponent. Finally he thought he was far enough away and went in for the kill.
