~as soon as the onyx brujo realizes he's made the kill, the auds pick up the thundering hooves of the charging buck. obsidian canis leaps aside, evading the hooves that slash into the terra. as the buck screams its battle cry, coal masculine snarls his challenge, lifting the black lips to reveal pearl ivories, each a lethal weapon.~

~watching the buck as it charges, charcoal canis takes a stride to the side and then leaps upon the buck. the black didn't want to bring it down. far too much meat to handle and it would be wasteful. instead, the ivories bite into the back of the neck, not a lethal, crushing grip, but enough to give pain to the maddened deer. the brujo jumps off and clamps the ivories to one hind leg, out of reach of the antlers. again, the blow isn't enough to take out the deer, but to ward off. ever alert to the buck's next move, the ivories hold to their target, deep snarls and growls emitting from within the onyx mascu's throat . . .~
