Her eyes welled up with tears at the thought of her past. She was young, but she had already had such a horrible past life. But she would be strong. She blinked back her tears and began in her strongest voice: Well, I was born north of here, in a snowy forest. My parents were the alphas, so, naturally, I held a high rank when I was old enough, which was beta. Not long after, a male wolf joined our pack and ruled beta kinship with me. I loved him so. Then suddenly my father died, and my mate was made alpha in his place. My mother unhesitantly moved down the totem pole and made room for me to be alpha with my mate. But absolute power corrupted my mate, and he became very nasty and hurtful. So I ran away, to find a new life. And I found this place. But it doesn't seem like I have a life for me down here either... Her voice broke off, and silent tears started falling down her silky cheeks.
