Date Posted: 00:22:48 06/06/04 Sun 1st grade Butchers 20 Uni 16 2nd grade Uni 22 butchers 20. I know this might sound like sour grapes but believe me its not. I can't believe the standard of refereeing in reserve grade. Today Darren Love and last week I think his name is Ben Evrill. Yes last week in reserve grade Port deserved there win against the butchers but Ben is no more then an average tooheys cup ref and Darren would be a good tooheys cup ref at best. So why are they refereeing the high grades, when they are not up to standard. Over the last 2 weeks i have seen some ordinary decisions and today Darren's decision to penalise a Thirroul player cost them the game. Something needs to be done. Where are all the refs, Marcus Jannett, Luke Potter etc. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
