 Marcus just had an appendix operation so he shouldn't be far away. But I agree - the ref they pulled up for the blacks vs Collegians match in reserve grade today was a shocker. Ryan Jackson I think his name was. He called high shots that weren't there, called forward passes that went a metre back and even penalised Collies for offside when the guy that picked the ball up was a metre or two behind the guy that dropped it. And this ain't sour grapes either - I'm a Port fan and Port won. The league really needs to start looking at doing something about referees. Perhaps they look at other comps to "borrow" refs ond not be so territorial.
