Last season, a second grade port side smashed Windang. The same Windang side that was undefeated thru the first round of the TNC competition, before being hit hard by injuries. This was the same Port side that failed to make the semis... The Windang side was not beaten, they were belted. Which they did to every TNC side early on in the competition.
So, you really have no justification there.
But, how about this, lets put it forward to our clubs in the offseason.
REserve grade teams VS Cub Cup sides... Might be a few interesting battles...
