Having dealt with some of the current Bulls committee members both in and outside of football, it is clear to see that the new management of the Bulls are doing everything in their power to make sure their club survives. I know only too well what what can happen to a club when it's finances are not closely monitored. The thing people seem to be missing is that The Bulls ARE in the competition this year, which is a great feat in itself given what has happened over the off-season. Rumours tend to run rife in this league and are more often than not unsubstantiated gossip from people who would like to think they know something about ALL of local league. The reality is that you don't knowthe full story unless you go to the source. Even though I wouldn't like to see my club beaten by the Bulls, I don't want to see them disappear. The Wollongong Club is built on a lot of tradition (ie, the Old Wollongong)and history, and should be assisted in remaining in the league. The new committee is doing this and should be aided in any way possible, just as Port were aided by the many clubs who attended their luncheon in 2000 which helped them return to the top grade of competition the following year. The players who remained to keep the bulls afloat such as Shaun Wallis should also be given a big pat on the back as their unselfishness is something rarely seen in today's league. All the best Bulls.
