Maintaining a site that is visited by by passionate supporters from various clubs will always create a situation where there will be disagreement at comments written. I welcome opposing views as sometimes my assumptions turn out wrong and it also means that people care. Caring about the Tooheys League, and increasing the amount of people who do so, is the main aim of this site and seeing 10 replies to any post on this forum is always good, even if the majority disagree with any comment I've posted.
One thing I will make clear is that this site does not support the destruction of Dapto (or any team for that matter). Having played juniors for Dapto, before my career was tragically cut short by inability in the under 14's, there is a soft spot for the Canaries. It's just that population of Dapto has ballooned to something like 60-70 000 and they could probably handle two teams (like Port Macquarie who have a team in group 2 and group 3). Avondale may even look south to group 7.
But the main thing is that debate on the subject brings out views and ideas that may otherwise not have been considered.
