 Having witnessed thew Burgh V Uni game in which a mate played for Uni, I read the match report on the web of steel with interest. 'Uni were complacent, clumsy, oafish, ponderous, incompetent and appalling" and 'woeful in defence'.

Whislt the Uni players would readily admit the Tigers took the momentum in the last quarter and deserved to win, Uni did lead 28-20 and looked like they might pull away. if Uni were as bad as the writer has suggested, how the hell did they score 34 points and only go down by 12?? And to say that Uni's points were only scored through Burgh players who were tired from running through the Uni defence is a joke!! It shoud,be remembered that the Burgh had 3 dragons players back (Olzard, Wellington, and Dykes) all good contributors, and Uni had a few key players absent. but all in all, the team who showed greater desire on the day got the cash.

Perhaps the piece written about the Web of steel not getting the recognition it deserves had the author steamed up. If Uni were that bad, how many points will they score when they play well????
