Great to see the competition continue to strengthen from the botum up - no east games this year for anyone
This needs to be maintained and developed, it is time the clubs that work thier arses off to survive and compete (Corrimal, Uni, Burgh, Thirroul to an extent, Bulls, and Berkeley) out thoer heads together about forcing the issue of a salary cap. Of course the big guns like Collies would not give a shit - who cares, but if it is in place, a simple process of providing audited accounts to the league annually would at least ensure all clubs were be prudent. this is the best way to protect the long term interests of clubs. They all know what they can spend on seniors, and then can perhaps even puch surplus funds into junior development, which takes on a greater priority under a cap.
