Date Posted: 18:17:28 05/02/04 Sun last week the oracle cast his gaze over the Burgh V Berkeley Game (am willing to field offers from the WOS for match reports). the oracle noticed among other things that one of the Burgh players has invented a dynamic new tackling style, it involves approaching a player front on and at the last second bringing together both forearms around about the ears region of the opposite player, referee clark was amazed at the clarity and precision with which this new style gives a defending player, whilst interpretation leads to believe that it cannot be deemed as "A swinging arm" because it involves the movement of both arms at once(albeit a technicality). Human movement specialists in Western Australia (the same scientists that cleared Muttiah Muralitharan are reported to be studying the footage of friday nights game to verify if these movements are inside the league guidelines. a special mention this week to the burgh hill supporters club for successfully proving the theory about helensburgh people being born with an extra chromozone by setting half the oval on fire with their ambitious fireworks display good work fellas look forward to next game. team vision and the musashi bar kid announced this week that with the defection up the mountain of their mascot Jarrad " Big Head" Watto another Jarrad, Mr "my biceps didnt get this big from just drinking bloody protein shakes" Woodforde has been appointed. Congratulations Woody, this should take away some of the pain for not getting selected in the group side. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
