Can someone fill me in on why a team would have more then the required number of reserve players on the bench during a game? As far as I'm aware you can only use 4 players, yet a certain team has 10 players on the bench for sunday's big game....
Isn't that a little pointless? What about the 6 leftover players who've had their hopes raised by the sniff of a grand final, only to have these hopes and for some their dreams ripped out from under them. I don't think it's right or ethical for coaches to do this to their players. I'm looking forward to watching the game myself but I feel sorry for those 10 blokes who have to wait and see what happens on the day.
