Everyone on the bench will have a good idea of the four who will get a run. However the others are there for any misshap that may arrise. eg one of your regular 80minute players gets injured like your five eighth or half. Now if you did not include them in your squad then a 'Mondays expert' such as yourself would probably criticize the coaching staff.
