Midway through what was a physical encounter against the books yesterday, a moment of unsportsmanship type play occurred at the begining of the second half. Events unfolded when a momentary decision had to be made when I was quickly approaching the fullback with a one on one situation coming to hand. In a split second I heard my name being called on my right hand side by a surpossed fellow team mate. I passed with all confidence only to see that the person behind the voice was that of an unsports man like opposition player Mark Capelin. As he wizzed off laughing in my face leaving me questioning the integraty of how the game should be played.
Later in that half the Books had just scored making it 24/20 our way.At this stage the game was anyones. We proceded to kick off down field and I noticed the ball was quickly approaching this so called player. He positioned himself under the ball only to come up with a knock on. This not only lead to us scoring a six pionter but gave us rollon leading to a convicing win and our first two competition pionts of the season. I've always prided myself on the way I played the game and I've found that with all my fellow players. Maybe these events that unfolded may help curve the ways of this so called player. I can only wish my little friend will one day find the integrity that has made this game the brotherhood it is today.

Regards

Stevy G
