League is a cheating game. Second row feeds, feet across, encroaching the ten, raking the ball in two man tackles are just some of the common forms. In cricket you are expected to walk if you know you are out, no winger is expected to give himself up if he steps on the line and knows he's out.

Calling for the ball by an opposition player's nickname has been a legitimate part of the game since I've been following rugby league.
